1) kill the drug users
2) allow booze
3) allow fireworks
4) smoking in the park
5) ban fireworks (Hey! What about #3?)
6) no welfare for drug users (Hey! What about #1?)

As I review the citizens’ demands, a couple thoughts occur to me.
1. No wonder the government continues to get bigger and more bloated all the time. People sure expect the government to take care of their every need. (And all it takes is money.)
2. We can debate forever how many of our problems have originated with all the newcomers, and how much is just societal evolution. (Graffiti, drunken downtown brawls, etc.) But – if people would just be a bit more considerate of other people, many of the petty problems would go away.
