I urge every ada citizen to call, write,e-mail all the commissioners and let them know how unhappy you are with this new personnel policy and with them.

Let them know you will be remembering their high-handed tactics in the voting booth.

As for county employees I recommend to all talk to a lawyer ( a class-action suit)specializing in labor relations or ask for assistance from the federal government. They can fire you but you can sue them.

Yep, it’s just rumor, but I’m betting the Guardian knows how to check it out — or, if he doesn’t have the time or inclination, some of his faithful correspondents to the blog will be able to feed in some factual info.

(I should say Commissioners Tilman and Yzaguirre passed the change – Commissioner Woods was MIA.)

Do you suppose the trio has gotten so much negative feedback they are getting cold feet?! Or am I dreaming to think that common sense, logic, and the bottom line would actually win out over their desire to exhibit dominance over the County’s employees?
