Dave,

Simple comment:

I was wondering if it is wise or even useful to post peoples Addresses and/or phone numbers on here, not just because if ID theft, but simple harassment. Perhaps just posting the Name, City and (maybe) the zip code would be sufficient to meet your goals.

In addition, where the one poster listed her number, I doubt she thought it would be posted on the internet as she was calling the mayors hot line, perhaps just editing out those numbers (or sticking in a 1-900 number instead) would be more useful, and more considerate to the citizen.

Not everyone is as kind and considerate as me, and may use the information to send a strongly worded letter, or worse, show up on someones doorstep.

EDITOR NOTE--We try to edit out the phone numbers. Address establishes things like what city, a neighbor, rich, poor, special interest, etc.

Congrats to Jan Peterson for being so civic minded and bringing things to the attention of the city government.

Also, where do you suppose that Martha Mosling read about CCDC/Arid club mess?
