It’s my observation that if you are in Boise, the chances of getting a traffic ticket anywhere but where the STEP team happens to be that day is close to zero. ACS and Garden City do a better job.

He’s been cracking this case for months now. I agree that 8th is a bottle neck that needs to be fixed with a few well placed tickets. I’ve been lucky in my ‘hood. When a car goes speeding by,mostly teenagers, I walk down to where they stop and have a little talk with them or their parents and that has really helped.

Nobody has gone “lookin'” for these maniacs. Please, by all means, feel free to invite them to YOUR neighborhood since you seem untroubled by them. And while you’re at it, pray it isn’t YOUR Ambulance trying to get past a Miller-Lite truck on 8th Street someday!

What it does appear is that there are a lot of private companies (Macalvain) in cahoots with government (State and City of Boise) and government (ACHD) who don’t seem to care that their actions are
impinging on nearby residents peace and quiet.

And don’t forget that the hotline was set up so that government employees don’t actually have to speak with constituents, you know, the taxpayers. Leave a message and we’ll get back to you – maybe.
