When Wendy called to complain about the dog-leash policy, did she dictate into the phone:

... incensed by this draconian effort of asterisk, ampersand, percent sign, dollar sign, people trying to take dog walking privileges...

or does the Mayor's Office delete expletives as a matter of community service?

EDITOR NOTE How the *@#&* do I know?

Ah, it's nice to live in a state where a mistreated puppy, panhandlers and bus benches are still major problems.

Sure beats heck out of places where IEDs, frequent suicide bombings, thousands dead from storms, floods, earthquakes, etc., neighboring armies invading, guerrilla forces attacking, etc., are the major concerns.

Personally, I feel sorry about the puppy, will sit on a bench now and then if I happen to be walking in the area, will occasionally give a panhandler a coin or two or ignore them, and give thanks to whatever I believe in that I'm here and not "there."
