On the other hand… why be in the office when the technology allows you to be fishing? Admittedly fishing without worry about work would be better, but this is better than nothing at all. Further.. you don’t have to be rich/elite to have a cell phone and fly fish.

You guys are missing the point.

Obviously this young man is closing a deal, or purchasing stock or something business-related. It’s the new world order: no longer do you have to be in a stuffy office in a crowded city to do business. Technology has made it possible for the rich and/or elite to never be out of touch – they can now afford to live in these once wild areas, make them even more exclusive than they already are, and still get the job done.

Not to mention the guy misses the entire point of being out in the “wild” fishing anyway.

Sigh.

“Stall him so I can get out of the water. I don’t have a license.” just doesn’t work for me since he doesn’t have a pole and isn’t technicaly fishing. He looks more like a guide saying “honey I’ll be home as soon as these idiots get their limit, wait a minute you’re wearing what?”
