Watch out for new overhead powerlines coming your way with the new trolley that will be built downtown. More money for the power company and more ugly lines overhead - yes, overhead - all over downtown that is currently nice and clear. This stinks.

Stand back! You don't want to be between city/county government and the developers when the impact fees and waivers start coming through!!! It is going to be nothing short of criminal when the deals they are making come to light!

Wow. A small victory for the average citizen, and a minor setback for the developers and their political stooges. And yes, Mr. Mayor, you city councilpeople, and you county commissioners, I called you stooges. You should all be voted out of the Treasure Valley.

I am amazed! People and Idaho Power have figured out developers have been enjoying a free ride at everyone else's expense.

Elected officals in this valley are now reaping the mess they let the developers get away with for the last 20 years. Growth at any cost has finally come home to roost and it ain't pretty.

No urban planning, weak ordinances, fear of developer lawsuits, no political will, poor preparation for public meetings by elected and appointed officials, no world view toward stewardship of the crown jewels of the valley, poor annexation decisions, urban sprawl, poor transportaion corridors, water table falling like a rock.

Now they don't have the cash to clean up the mess left behind. They deserve all the criticism we can muster.
