There were no coaches on the ice. It was just the kids fooling around on thier own. And no young girls saw them either. Just a parent.

EDITOR NOTE–Just a Parent, I believe you, but Boise’s legal office has refused to provide us with the security video, claiming it would put the public at risk–ala “national security,” We are appealing the refusal to the District Court and will be able to confirm your report eventually. Last time we saw video from a city camera, the police chief was returning stolen property to the mayor’s office.

My 17 year old grandfather fought in WWI. I’m glad the coach didn’t make them enter a tight jeans contest like our Idaho governor.

Sure it wasn’t right of the coach, but that is it…. it’s the fault of the coach, not the kids. Between obeying the coach, thinking it sounded grown up and fun, and peer pressure, the kids practiced their shots.
I suppose you never did anything silly as a teen. I suppose peer pressure has never had any influence on you – not as a teen and not now.
If you say that you have never been influenced by peer pressure then you either lack introspection, are in total denial or are not telling the truth.

ps. Idaho’s elected, respected officials are lead buffoons. Did you vote for any of them?

Kappa Ta, I am 63 years old and I am willing to be you don’t know half of what your son has done if he is a normal, inquisitive teenaged male. I am reflecting back on the sins of my youth with a great fondness of that period in my life.

MOONING was a great activity of the day in my youth. Call it juvenile or whatever but it sure was fun. Streaking was one of the more risque activities in the 1970’s. I can remember a ski instructor STREAKING down the mountain at Big Bear Ski Area. Ski hat, goggles, boots and nothing else save the skis and poles.

Get over it MOM.

I hate to burst the testosterone bubble going here, but what these young men did in a public place was improper and in poor taste. Isn’t it great that Idaho keeps making national news for buffoonery and stupidity. OK, you caught me, I’m a MOM. I taught my son better; so should these coaches and so-called leaders who mold our children’s lives in our absence. Fire the coaches, ban the team from the rink permanently and stop “lightening up” on serious matters unrelated to politics and city hall issues.
