Actually, religion (all of them) is the reason we are in the mess we are in. The various religions are NOT tolerant of each other.

Iran has a different Constitution than we do. Ours requires separation of church & state.

Give it a break Rod. We are a christian based nation that accepts all others. Your political correctness position is a huge reason why we are in as much trouble as we are. Why don’t you try to eliminate the muslim religion from the government in Iran? I will never understand why we, as a nation, think so little of ourselves!

Separation of church & state. Having a nativity scene on public property is clearly unconstitutional. It implies a government preference for one religion over other religions.

EDITOR NOTE–Rod, you have a point, but the bigger question for the BG is this: If there was a nativity scene at the City Hall was it allowed there by the same folks who towed the 10 Commandments out of the city park?

We didn’t notice, nor care about the city hall decorations.
