Let’s hope TJ does a better job in his first year than his friend President Obama, I know that’s setting the bar low but seriously we can wish him good luck and hope he responds to people more readily than his cohorts. Especially in his first days in elected office with a big job ahead and some poor examples to learn from.

Um . . . The pictures are in order of the seat on the Council they hold. Don’t criticize him for being able to put numerals in order; I would hope all our Council members can.

seriously. The ragers against the machine call themselves Tea Partiers. It’s the garafalos, obermans, maddows et al of the world that call them tea baggers – ain’t they cute. Also apparently Rod in SE Boise is being snarky, although since he hasn’t responded, maybe he hasn’t a clue or is just too ashamed to answer.

I looked up “tea bagger” on the internet and it was quite naughty. I had no idea that’s what those guys were promoting. Look it up in the Urban Dictionary. Why do right wingers go for this kind of thing and call themselves patriotic?

See, I was right! “Follow the Money” did object to refreshments, and then Cyclops and Alva objected to me predicting that someone would.

Alva, city council elections are supposed to be non-partisan. And if you want to hear something negative about the worst elected official ever, I’m your guy!

Why are you suprised???? When you have a full PR staff to do your PR work for you at tax payer expense???

Just more of the same…use city resources to promote yourself and make it look like you care but then tell the voters to go sit down and shut up if they show up to testify against anything you plan to do …regardless.

Say, this is nothing to do with this story but it kind of is city business: I noticed a new fire station on South Cole. How much did it cost? And how long have they been building it. It looks very very expensive and seems to be getting dragged out into a multi-year project.
