They are a blight on the landscape.

Since I don’t like the notion of a paid bureaucrat having to drive out in a government vehicle to take the sign down, I’ve “deputized” myself, and will often pull ’em up and leave ’em lying face down. (I don’t damage them.) I’m probably committing a felony myself… but once a lady confronted me. I told her I’d be happy to give her my name, if she wanted to call the police. (I’d love it if a cop arrested me for pulling up an illegal sign.)
