Great picture Dave, thanks for sharing. Seems to me you also have pictures from the same location (the depot) before all the high rise buildings were built.

Despite the blockage of the view that us old-timers remember (back before the tall tower and the Eggo Hotel, and even the Bank of Idaho building), Boise is still a pretty decent place to live, all things considered.

May we appreciate the bounty that is ours. And may we be ever-vigilant about protecting what we have. There are no guarantees.

I’m gratified to hear of Poet Paul’s prognosis – keep those limericks comin’!! (The robot took my prostate on 12/15 of last year and I, too, am fully recovered by every measure. Life is good! The credit goes to Drs. William Jones and Avery Seifert, and the Good Lord.)
