There-in is the problem. Running a public corporation like the City of Boise deserves a “TRAINED PROFESSIONAL” to run our city in a professional manner. Corporations do not hold elections for their CEO’s they hire the best talent they can find and if he doesn’t do the job he gets fired.

I am all for elected city councilors and a elected mayor but a trained City Manager is what is needed and the sooner the better. Making the change to City Manager Govt. would help prevent a lot of the problems we face today.

That may be the problem with somebody new stepping into the political arena. It may be too hard to hold down a regular job while doing this on the side.
