Guv Observes Free Speech

We don’t normally drop “f-bombs” on the GUARDIAN, but this display of free speech with the familiar face of Idaho Guv Butch Otter is an example of democracy in action. It was sent to us by a reader who got the viral image from Face Book.

Surprised that our “Education Governor” can read such long words.

  2. I heard about him then saw these pictures. My guess the individual will be chiming in. Hopefully he would of hid the sign from the naive and innocent (Children).

  3. This photo isn’t mine but I took one as he was waving at passing traffic in front of the statehouse. He was still shaking from a confrontation with the state police who threatened him with a felony. The strongly encouraged him to move on. I’ll post at 43sb.com (click my name) and link you up.

He really, really enjoyed the crotchety old men who flipped him off as they passed. I didn’t begrudge his schadenfreude.

  4. That’s gotta be Butch’s twin brother… Butch dresses like John Wayne.

(I’ll be glad with the image rolls off the current news, Dave… it may be “free speech,” but nobody should be forced to “behold” it. A wise man once said, “Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcibly.”)

  5. Confused. Was he feeling f***** because Romney lost or because Romney lost?

“Liar” is also only a 4 letter word and yet it describes Romney in so much more detail. I would have gone with that.

  7. Makes for a good chuckle!

  8. Revenge of the nerds?

  9. Butch looks guilty for putting the sign on the guy.

  10. Now I know how those ^*$#@($% drugged out scum sucking hippies must have felt about us class A clad GIs during the Viet Nam war, (police action my butt!)

Had I seen this obscene, obese, poltroon in real time, my reaction would have been barraccckkkk, patoooie (just like Bill the Cat hawking a hairball), right in his smug, foul, mug. I might have even taken the time to hastily hunt up a pinch of Beech Nut just to emphasize my disdain and enhance his just reward.

    Let’s dance fat boy!

  11. Now if he only would go out and protest the war. But I guess that’s hard to do when it’s not Bush in charge.

Only thing is American blood and American treasure are still be wasted.
