Good timing, he has a vacation to the Basque country coming up. Why not have Boise pay for it.

EDITOR NOTE–In fairness to Hizzoner. He will go as a representative of Boise City, but the folks in Spain are paying the tab. It’s a difficult call. If he is going in his official capacity as mayor it would seem logical taxpayers should pay the bill. If he is making a private trip based on his ethnic heritage, he probably shouldn’t go on behalf of Boise citizens and get official authority from the council.
