The Brandon Titus Memorial Fund I set up in memory of my son, Brandon, to help other military/veteran families has been working to find families in dire need of a helping hand this season, most of the local news media are doing their own thing, so we’ve not been able to really get the word out! So far we have helped 2 families and several veterans at the Boise Rescue Mission, but we need the community’s help; if anyone knows of a family that could really, really use some help + hopefully make some children smile on Christmas day, Please contact me asap! I was touched by both the student’s description of their Christmas needs and the amazing response from my department. The student requested nothing for himself, but asked for his family some food, diapers, toilet paper, laundry soap and any used clothing we could spare. We were all touched by the student’s humility and putting his family first, and our department really stepped up and made their Christmas and being able to help that family I am sure made our Christmas!

I think it is just a part of many people’s routine way of life. When it involves money, it is more noticeable, perhaps, but, it is present and appreciated every day.
