Here is the official word on primary election early voting from Ada County Elections.
Early Voting in Ada County will be open on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
· Hours are 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
County’s early voting site is located at:
· 400 N Benjamin Lane, Boise
Voters are asked to bring photo identification.
This Primary election will be a closed primary. Consequently, the voter’s ballot choice will be dependent upon their party affiliation and precinct.
· Republicans will be able to vote the Democrat, Nonpartisan or Republican ballot.
· Democrat, Constitution and Libertarian Party members will be able to vote the Democrat or Nonpartisan ballot.
· Unaffiliated voters may select a party affiliation and corresponding ballot choice at the time they vote
It needs to be noted that voters wishing to vote for partisan races such as those for Congress, State offices, the Idaho Legislature or County offices will need to select a Democrat or Republican ballot. Those selecting the Nonpartisan ballot will only vote for judges and any ballot question they may be eligible for. Once a party affiliation has been made, it cannot be changed.
As of 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, 847 voters have cast their ballots at Benjamin. An additional 6,175 ballots have been mailed out, with 2,178 voted ballots being returned.

As the saying goes, if you don’t vote you don’t have the right to complain about the results.

Last I checked, “Democrat” was a noun. The adjective is “Democratic,” as in the Democratic Party.
Where are you in Viet Nam? Beautiful country, but not very democratic.

Grumpy: People who don’t vote DO have the right to complain. In fact, complaining can sometimes be more effective than voting, especially in places like Idaho.
