Top GUARDIAN Stats for 2014

We have slowed down the pace over the years when it comes to posting new stories. Total posts for 2014 was 129.

Top commenters were Zippo (162), Easterner (132), Rick (120).

Top story for comments goes to Boise Police Chief Mike Masterson who garnered 45 comments on the campus gun bill post, “Masterson, Other Coppers Ignored At Gun Hearing.”

“The Voters (some) Have Spoken” from November drew 43 comments for second place in responses. Number three was “Are Ability AND Integrity Impossible?”

“Are Ability AND Integrity Impossible,” from October was also the most viewed post, followed closely by, “Is Boise Losing ‘Small Town Flavor’?” in March.

Twitter, Spokesman.com, and Caldwell Guardian were top referral sites. Most of the views came from the USA, but 150 other countries also had viewers of the GUARDIAN.

  1. Speaking of the Caldwell Guardian, I am wondering what has become of Paul? His posts seem to have taken a hiatus.

EDITOR NOTE–He has had some health problems, but is home and doing better after a jump start and some rehab.

I haven’t been the most faithful reader; but am both an enthusiastic and appreciative one. Each of us has “life interruptions” from time to time, which take precedence over our reading of the Guardian. In our case we’re just back from the funeral of my 97 year old mother-in-law from out of town. Thanks for the diligence, concern humor and great photos. They, and you, are appreciated.

  3. This site is what news is supposed to be. The lame stream media is nothing but infotainment laced with propaganda similar to the old USSR. Our govt is becoming more Orwellian at an alarming rate, and if folks don’t start paying attention, we will be enslaved by the banksters and corrupt politicians who have declared the American citizen the enemy. Thank you for fighting the ever more corrupt system!
