Some of the newer development out there actually does connect to the “estates’on the north side via Millet Dr. and Woodcross Dr. Interestingly, it doesn’t connect to Harris Ranch proper.

BG- Looks like there is affordable housing in the Harris Ranch area! Golden Dawn connects with Warm Springs and not with any Harris Ranch streets.

That whole valley is just a big hodge-podge of development now. There are subdivisions platted or built from Warm Springs Mesa all the way to Ben’s Crow Inn with little regard for wildlife or increased traffic.

What caused it to burn like a refinery fire? Trailers do have a lot of plastics?

(Being a long-time resident of the area… way back when Harris Ranch was actually a ranch… I’m familiar with Golden Dawn Estates. But I’m guessing that if you reported a fire at Golden Dawn Estates, 90% of Boise Residents would have no idea where those Estates are located. As for Maynard Gulch… rabula has me on that one! I believe that’s what they called it back when Major Pinkney Lugenbeel was head honcho at Fort Boise.)

I’m glad they rescued those beautiful weenie-dogs!

EDITOR NOTE– It was indeed GOLDEN DAWN ESTATES. From all I can see, the old “trailer park” is part of Harris Ranch with connected streets, etc. As I understand his argument he is faulting me, claiming it is NOT at Harris Ranch. Only reason I posted it all was because the old news juices still course through my veins on rare occasions and the images beat the hell out of the legacy media.

Yeah, but giving the devils their due, they’re are not part of Harris Ranch, which ends north of Maynard Gulch.

Golden Dawn Estates would more accurately be described as “just southeast of Harris Ranch,” rather than “at Harris Ranch.”

EDITOR NOTE–At one time I would have agreed, but today there seems to be new homes on at least three sides of the “double wides.”
