The website has recordings of past meetings. "elections in December" probably means in-house board elections. Probably meant to say 'approvals' rather than elections? At any rate, anyone interested in being considered should certainly let the mayor's office know.

Boise trash

According to news reports, the City of Boise sent their own crews to collect leaves that Republic (or whatever the firm is called this year) wasn't able to collect.

But will the City charge Republic for this extra work incurred? Why not? The contract with Republic probably has a very nice hidden clause that refers to 'unusual occurrence' or something like that.

When will Ms Chertudi (sp) admit these multiple containers are an eyesore and get Code Enforcement to sent notes to the losers (high and medium and low-end houses) who refuse to hide their cans?

"Elections are in December" according to recording of last meeting. Perhaps that means letting the Mayor know if you are interested in being considered.

EDITOR NOTE--Not sure your reference here. We have a consolidated election law in Idaho which offers a chance to vote on everything from bonds, primary candidates, and a general election. March, May, August, and November.

It's funny how the downtown stadium talk has largely been silent, at least from the corporate media side of things - ever since Betsy Russell's alarm over GBAD's potential violation of the Open Meeting Law. Sounds like the crooks got their hands caught in the cookie jar!

Still lots of news happening.
Problem is it's just more of the same.

Guardian skipped over discussing the resolution of the Bergdahl case.
As time has shown, it turned out differently that predicted by the Guardian:
"When all is said and done in the Bowe Bergdahl case the GUARDIAN predicts there will be either some sort of secret agreement to ###dismiss charges## or a simple reduction in rank and a ###“general discharge”### from the Army."1/27/15 [hashtags added]

EDITOR NOTE--There was indeed an agreement rather than a trial, he was reduced in rank and discharged. We admit the severity was a dishonorable discharge. We didn't factor in the Presidential preference to shoot him.

~ EARLY NEW YEARS RESOLUTION ~

We Americans have much to be thankful for..
Our nation's Founders provided us with the rights, freedoms & authority to govern ourselves & prevent the political prostitutes we live under today.
A better quality of life free of being over-taxed & molested by our public employees is well within our immediate grasp..
Fulfilling our civic obligation as oath enforcers to hold corrupt officials accountable for violating their oath employment contracts would be a meaningful show of thanks to our Founders & veterans..
Public records provide us the evidence necessary to promptly fire the rascals,, beats whining & would let them know that the free- ride is over..
