The planned, but never executed, 1962 Operation Northwoods plot by the U.S. Department of Defense for a war with Cuba involved scenarios such as fabricating the hijacking or shooting down of passenger and military planes, sinking a U.S. ship in the vicinity of Cuba, burning crops, sinking a boat filled with Cuban refugees, attacks by alleged Cuban infiltrators inside the United States, and harassment of U.S. aircraft and shipping and the destruction of aerial drones by aircraft disguised as Cuban MiGs.

It was authored by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, but then rejected by President John F. Kennedy.

The surprise discovery of the documents relating to Operation Northwoods was a result of the comprehensive search for records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy by the Assassination Records Review Board in the mid-1990s.

I do not agree with your wildass accusations that tens of thousands of Americans spanning many decades have conspired to murder Americans in events such as 9/11 and school shootings (as you said in first comment). It has happened in several commie regimes, the Nazis, and it could happen here if we continue to drift left. It’s about the happen in South Africa. Bob is totally correct. I actually investigate the sensational narratives spun by ‘Govt/Media and it’s pretty easy to discern just how big of lies they tell. You don’t have to be some hot shot academician to understand what’s going on. Now, Wrong actually picked up on the fact that the Cruz shooter kid was a clear and present danger. It would take a massive effort to “miss” that kid. There were countless warnings but the FBI chose not to address it. And the Snead family totally lied when they said they didn’t know Cruz had a second key to the gun safe. And, improper procedures were witnessed in real time by experts who watched the event on TV, regarding EMTs and trauma facilities.

We agree. I call the media ‘incompetent’ because in general they have strayed so far from their ethical/moral role as guardians of truth justice and the American way. I agree there is indeed a conspiracy directing MSM today. It’s why this blog exists. Similar agendas are directing our education system and are deeply rooted in government employee ranks. The recent hijacking of our health care insurance is clear evidence. Many claim it is the subversive communist agenda. Bernie Sanders probably would have beat Trump. That’s how close we are to tipping over.

However, I do not accept the excuses you make for the average American not paying attention. They are not without education. They are not working 18 hours a day 7 days a week. Even the homeless have an iPhone. Average Americans live better than any group of people in the history of the world. We/They are suffering from nothing more than apathy. Too comfortable perhaps? The greatest source of stress for Americans today is what is called Status Anxiety (Alain de Botton). Status anxiety is a companion of our substantial liberty. The liberties enjoyed by the common man today are novel in the history of humanity. Many deal with this anxiety by allowing others to choose their path in a return to the old ways (Bernie voters). Look what the Russian commoners did with their new liberties over the past 30 years. Some excelled but many long for the days when they didn’t have the think so much and ate rat soup.

The claim that conspiracies are difficult to pull off is nonsense. We are surrounded by conspiracies. It is easy to pull off when you own the media outlets. Despite the fact that people can easily find that most conspiracies are actually true on the internet, the vast majority of folks are too busy trapped in the Consumer Utopia work/spend paradiagm to do more than glance at a TV (fake) Newscast once in a while.

Today’s Media: The most incompetent of all is the American Public for not only tolerating the useless media; we are paying more than ever to consume it. Just remember Bob, giving accurate useful news is not the goal, the goal is to have you exposed to the advertisements. Twenty something hottie reporter in yoga pants? Who cares the content. Any amount of inexpensive inaccurate bullcrap to suck you in so you will also see the ads is the objective. All media has become a trashy tabloid. The most important thing happening in any newsroom is the expensive commercial for pills or used cars or HVAC services etc.

9/11 was scheduled well in advance to be a “terrorism preparedness drill” where planes flew into the Twin Towers, but somehow it became the “real” thing. Sandy Hook, as well as all the other big school mass shootings, were supposed to be “active shooter drills”, but somehow the corporate media never “discovered” that little fact.

Why does the corporate media report every little crime by the poor people, but ignore the millionaire/billionaire crimes?

Why does the corporate media rehash the same old formula of crime, fires, airplane crashes, sports and weather, while the office of the USA President has acquired the right to strip Americans of the citizenship, possessions, or kill them with no due process?
Our media is now in the hands of 5 corporations and our elections are completely fraudulent, but no mention of that at all.
Why has the corporate media been hyping the Russion Meddling story for nearly 2 years with no evidence of meddling, while America is always meddling in foreign elections?
