Median house prices will eventually return to the sub-$200,000 level, leaving anyone who used a loan to buy in the last 5 years deep underwater. I feel sorry for any weak-minded first-time buyers who were suckered into over paying and believed the realtor BS. But it should have been obvious if you stopped to think for a second. $450,000 for a run-of-the-mill 1800 sq. ft. 3/2 house? Surely you must be joking.
