ISSUE: Would like to suggest that the City of Boise designate the proceeds from certain, marked parking meters and donate them to homeless coalition groups and animal rescue groups.

Boise, ID 83703
ISSUE: Recently there has been flooding and trees falling along Sand Creek behind Edward’s Greenhouse. Public Works, Forestry and ACHD have all been trying to determine who has ownership/responsibility. Several years ago a culvert was replaced on the Edward’s property side but not replaced on his side of the creek. He feels it’s a hazardous situation because of erosion and the potential for flooding.

N 7th Street
Boise, ID 83702
ISSUE: The Idaho Statesman has been throwing ads on each person’s yard every Wednesday. Neither he nor his neighbors want these ads littering the street and the neighborhood. The Statesman has been difficult to work with. He feels this will lead to more unsolicited fliers, ads, etc. being delivered to people’s homes.
Called the Idaho Statesman on Tim’s behalf.

  1. I think the city should designate a few parking meters and donate the money to me for a good cause yet to be determined, maybe beer.

  2. JJ, Let’s put it in a pot and celebrate when we finally get rid of this “duufas” of a mayor! Great idea!

  3. Throwing these back on the statesman lawn sounds good to me, . as far as I’m concerned, what the statesman is doing is littering, . I don’t want that stuff, nor did I ask for it

I believe it is spelled “doofus”, and it’s not just the Mayor, but also the City Council, Police Chief, County Commissioners, Governor, his cabinet, and the State Senators and Representatives. Pretty much, none of them know you know what from Shinola.

I am in total agreement with Tim. I pick up the litter that the Statesman pays to toss it onto the yards – it never gets looked at, but goes directly into the recycling bin. I’d toss it onto their lawn, but I have other things to do with my gas and some poor employee will pick it up which will not change a thing.
Now, if we all took it to the Mayors office perhaps he would then have the time to call the Statesman ….

  6. Rod, thanks for the spell check. I couldn’t even find it in the dictionary. I used the “uu’s” because it reminded me of “Duumb”!!
You are so right. I swear it is something in the water. They turn into idiots during the swearing in ceremony! Maybe they are being hypnotized??

  7. Dear Mr. Mayor. Please write the Statesman a ticket for litter, or perhaps even harassment, or vandalism. These little ad things are often wrapped in plastic too. The statesman needs to understand that their stuff stinks. Especially since this is a bunch of green freaks messing up the hood.
