  1. I suppose all those people who built along the river will be yelling to have the tax payers protect there gated communities from the raising waters. The same ones that block access to the public getting to the river.

  2. Let see you might get burned out in the foothills, you might get flooded out if you live under the dam, you might get flooded if you live in the North end. Where to live where there is no danger?

    Not to worry if some thing bad happens we can all jump on the new street car down town and go to safety.

  3. Part of the reasoning for creating the Greenbelt in Boise was to limit development and therefore flooding hassles at the river’s edge. Boise 1, Eagle 0
