Frazier Slide Show At Hillcrest Library!

PERITO MORENO GLACIER

GUARDIAN editor David R. Frazier has a day job that takes him around the world making educational and travel pictures for everyone from National Geographic books to World Book Encyclopedia.

HIGHWAY 69 MENDOZA-SANTIAGO

The good folks at the new Hillcrest Library! requested a slide show about Argentina which will be presented THURSDAY JULY 14 at 7 p.m. We have no idea the size of the audience, but the room is not large, so prepare to make friends. We are offering more than 300 images from at least three expeditions to the land of gouchos, mountains, and waterfalls.

LaBoca BARRIO

It will be an informal presentation with plenty of time to share stories and even get a taste of native empanadas from Tangos.

  1. Are taxpayer $$ being used to keep the lights on in that library or run the air conditioning? I demand an immediate inquiry in regards to the misuse of public funds for Dave/Guardian PR!!! 🙂 Just joking…..kind of.

EDITOR NOTE–We promised our friends at the library to not talk politics, but since you brought it up…we are donating our time and sharing the valuable images with the public for FREE. Can’t say the same for all those others who get grants or operate PR agencies on tax money just a few dollars under the $25,000 limit for bids. Just joking back, sort of.

  2. Glad to see your keen sense of humor hasn’t been damaged by fighting all the perceived misuse of funds and resources.

  3. I think I will just enjoy the artistic talent without political input. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the scenery of life. Because life without art is extremely hollow.

    Thanks for sharing Dave.

  4. I just found out about this presentation now… wish I had known earlier – as I would have loved to attend! Is there any chance of a repeat, or of our favorite editor doing a PowerPoint presentation with his laptop at a local cafe (or luncheon venue), if this reader picks up the tab?
