GBAD Violates Rules, Installs State Dem Party Official

The Greater Boise Auditorium District had its first meeting Monday with the newly elected board members and promptly solidified its Democrat leaning by hiring Susan Eastlake, the Idaho Dem party treasurer to act as secretary/treasurer for the District.
The GBAD legal counsel told the board he felt the GBAD bylaw was in conflict with state code. The GBAD rules say the treasurer must be a board member and the state code says “may or may not” be a member. Like other violations the board has committed in the past, whatever they do is of little interest, but can have major impacts on the community. They will no doubt change the rules to meet their desires.
Apparently oblivious to the resounding, if not overwhelming disinterest on the part of VOTERS Chairman Hy Kloc declared, “It’s clear voters were looking for a change,” according to the Boise WEEKLY.
Perhaps as many as 3% were looking for a change, but with only a 5% turnout the real message is, “Voters don’t give a damn.”

From Wikipedia: “”Democrat Party” is a political epithet used in the United States for the Democratic Party. The term has been used in negative or hostile fashion by conservative commentators and members of the Republican Party in party platforms, partisan speeches and press releases since 1940.[1]” Shame on you, “Democratic Party” would have served this article in a civil manner.
EDITOR NOTE– I take full blame for the error, but not for any ill intent. Truth is, I was unsure at the time and based on your admonition made the wrong choice.

My complaint has to do with the decline of civility is public discourse; the editor notes that this one was in error.
