Can anyone explain why it is a “subsidy” when the Korean government helps out memory chip makers, but when Gov. Dirk signs legislation giving Micron multimillion dollar tax breaks at the expense of Ada County residents it is called “incentivization?”
The GUARDIAN doubts that Dirk’s position has anything to do with the fact Micron has paid him at least $17,500 since he has been guv.
When Dirk and his friends made their junket to The Orient recently among other accomplishments was an apparent announcement that Hamilton Manufacturing of Twin Falls had secured financing to build a new plant which would create jobs…IN CHINA!
Wow! What a great trade mission for those sharp Idaho politicos and their business friends.
