Apologies to regular readers for not getting new material posted and rapid posting of your insightful comments. The GUARDIAN editor has been working at the “day job” shooting images in Eastern Idaho and Yellowstone.
I intend to offer up some little tidbits of information and share some photos in the next few days.
For starters this picture was made at Last Chance on Henrys Fork of the Snake River at Island Park–that is MECCA to flyfishers. People come from around the globe for the chance to offer wily trout a mouth full of deer hair and feathers.
The area–once a truly wild destination and playground of the eastern elite–is now a playground for Generation X, Boomers, or whatever they call people with more money and time than common sense.
Feel free to ad your own caption suggestions. For bait we offer: “FISH TALK” and
“Stall him so I can get out of the water. I don’t have a license.”
