ISSUE: Some people just moved into a rental house at 3269 N. Tylerson and he thinks they run a private wild land firefighting company because there are some huge fire vehicles parked in their driveway and in front of the house. The trucks parked in the driveway are way beyond what is allowed in a residential area, and the truck in front of the house seems to be an abandoned vehicle because it hasn’t moved for a long time.

Kudos to the Boise Parks Department for keeping the Greenbelt clear of snow. How about cleaning up the bike lanes next?

Te heck with the greenbelt…how about some snow removal on the streets…In 4 years in Boise I have never even seen a snow plow. Coming from New England, this affectation that they are not needed is amusing.

The unplowed streets are a nuisance; especially downtown where we watched folks struggle to get into and out of snow-clogged parking spaces for First Thursday. But relatives in Spokane where they DO plow the streets complain about the four foot snow berm at the end of the driveway after the plow passes. At least here if you can motorboat from your garage to an arterial you may benefit from that slippery goo they spray to melt the snow on the road.

Too true–also from New England.
Our climate is obviously changing to cooler, wetter, and colder in winter. Time to buy more plows, or lease them for winter, and dig out the streets and the alleys as well!!!
