EDITOR NOTE–Thanks Rod. Have to admit I got up for the usual old man thing at 1:30 a.m. noticed the moon was red and went back to bed. Perhaps next time…
Guardian, I don’t believe the contribution you make to our city could be quantified. Your mission is greatly appreciated! A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you and your family!
Last Friday I was given my Christmas present early. My Oncologist, Dr. Tonya Kuhn, told me my cancer is CURED! I could not have received better news! May you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bless you all. –POET PAUL
P.S . Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic!
Despite the blockage of the view that us old-timers remember (back before the tall tower and the Eggo Hotel, and even the Bank of Idaho building), Boise is still a pretty decent place to live, all things considered.
May we appreciate the bounty that is ours. And may we be ever-vigilant about protecting what we have. There are no guarantees.
I’m gratified to hear of Poet Paul’s prognosis – keep those limericks comin’!! (The robot took my prostate on 12/15 of last year and I, too, am fully recovered by every measure. Life is good! The credit goes to Drs. William Jones and Avery Seifert, and the Good Lord.)
Best wishes to Dave, and to Guardian readers both far and near. Have a happy and healthy and safe 2011.
Great picture Dave, thanks for sharing. Seems to me you also have pictures from the same location (the depot) before all the high rise buildings were built.
Wishing you and Mrs. Guardian a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Excellent picture Dave. You are inspiring. I’m gonna try and emulate it cause I’m pretty sure I can’t duplicate it.
