What are the anticipated revenues from the new meters? Since they’ll run on plastic, will they auto-charge for longer parking and will this eliminate fines or will they auto-generate those too? Considering their capabilities, will the City be getting rid of parking enforcement employees in the future? How much and how long will it take to pay for the new meters?

So what’s the other side? These funds aren’t going to street maintenance since that’s ACHD’s bag. Certainly a portion goes to enforcement — how about the rest?
