Press release from Logan Kimball:
KIMBALL ADVOCATES INCOME TAX ON DEVELOPER SUBSIDIES
Responding to an item published in a WASHINGTON POST op-ed piece Wednesday about stadium funding schemes, Boise Council Candidate Logan Kimball noted, “The idea of placing an excise tax on local subsidies to developers has a lot of appeal. If these people get income from local government, they should have to pay state and federal income tax, just like the rest of us do on our income.”
(The POST story was written by Neil deMause, a Brooklyn-based journalist and co-author of the book “Field of Schemes.”)
