Bar Staff Must Cover Nose, Mouth, But Little Else

The GUARDIAN has to admit we “had a vision” when the Torch 2 on Vista, Boise’s answer to a (almost) topless bar, received a warning from the Central District Health Department because the “mask mandate” was not being enforced.

Think about it. The girls have to wear a mask to cover their nose and mouth, but most everything else is NOT covered! What a city!

  1. So, if a patron slips a five-spot under one of the strings holding the mask in place… might he enjoy a peek at what’s underneath??

    (Asking for a friend…)

  2. With regard to the photo. Hoping it’s not stock. I much prefer to think you took it in person. Details?

EDITOR NOTE–I did indeed make the photo in Thailand on Ko Samui.

  3. Have you more photos to share? For verification only, of course.

I’ve been saying we need to update public nudity laws to cover mouths and nostrils. Not sure how that would affect a place like this though.

If I went there I doubt if I would even notice whether masks were worn or not Dental floss and band aids pretty well cover it.

I need to visit this place soon. It just might put a much-needed smile back on my face. Unfortunately, no one would see it under my mask.
