Latest #1: Most Over Priced Real Estate

Boise has made another “Top Ten” list, this time for the most over priced real estate, according to FORTUNE Magazine.

We get a kick out of listening to the radio ads for real estate agencies claiming to get the “highest prices” for the houses they sell.

Simple logic would suggest that BUYERS avoid those agencies. Who wants to pay the highest prices? Imagine a super market advertising they have the highest prices for vendor goods!

We can only hope Boise doesn’t come up with a plan to buy up homes that are up for foreclosure in the name of providing “affordable housing” while propping up the owners who are financially underwater.

Too funny. But this city council would gush over the idea. Maybe you can I interview city council candidates.

  2. I think we all know how this story is going to play out: like 2008 on steroids. Median house prices will eventually return to the sub-$200,000 level, leaving anyone who used a loan to buy in the last 5 years deep underwater. I feel sorry for any weak-minded first-time buyers who were suckered into over paying and believed the realtor BS. But it should have been obvious if you stopped to think for a second. $450,000 for a run-of-the-mill 1800 sq. ft. 3/2 house? Surely you must be joking.

    because supply is high
    and demand is low.
