The Idaho legislature has begun its annual jabbering about abortion with a bill aimed at withholding state sales tax revenues from Boise.
Boise’s city councilors brought the grief upon themselves with a resolution making investigation of abortion cases a low priority. The Boise resolution in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court Roe-vs-Wade recinding decision was the only such action in Idaho.
Making a public statement declaring intent to not enforce a law certainly invites retaliation. Not wise to list what laws a city will enforce or ignore.
Check out the BOISE DEV report from the legislature.

Before becoming elected public servants, candidates at all levels of government, campaign to fight for us. We see it demonstrated daily even within their own parties. We the people need to question when they, elected public servants, are fighting for us. Who are they WORKING FOR.

“Law Abiding” is a foundation of our society. Stating that they’ll simply ignore laws has been increasing over the decades and especially the last 5 years, turning society into anarchy. If you can ignore 1 law then you can ignore all of them. And if there is no enforcement then there are no laws.
Add in that democrats have been destroying Boise and it’s easy to see that we’re headed into becoming a dumpster fire. “fighting for you” cannot include undermining everything – that is no better than the antifa fascist anarchists and their murder zones.
The comparison of cities in Idaho being 2A sanctuaries is silly given that all of Idaho is one to the fullest extent of law.
