Criminals & Gangs Abound In Valley

In little more than “Ten Days In May,” agents of the United States Government with assistance from local coppers bagged 91 gangsters and assorted criminals in the treasure Valley.

U.S. Marshal Brent Bunn issued a press release Friday detailing the arrests and declaring the mass action of coppers, “insures all of our communities will be a safe place for our families to live.”

Here is the PRESS RELEASE:

Beginning 05/17/2021, through 05/28/2021, the U.S. Marshals Service partnered with numerous Treasure Valley law enforcement entities to conduct Operation Washout, a U.S. Marshals Service national initiative focused on the investigation and arrest of violent fugitives and gang members. Operation Washout brought together state, local, and federal law enforcement officers to focus on specific areas impacted by gang violence and target those gang members for investigation and arrest.

During the operation, law enforcement officers arrested 91 fugitives, of those, 43 were gang members. Subsequent to the arrests, officers seized 9 firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs and currency. Officers disrupted the criminal activity of several Treasure Valley gangs by arresting members of the Aryan Knights (AK), a gang formed in the mid-1990s in the Idaho prison system, the Severely Violent Criminals (SVC), a gang formed in the early 2000s in the Idaho prison system, the Surenos and the Nortenos, both Hispanic street gangs.

U.S. Marshal Brent Bunn commended the officers supporting Operation Washout by stating, “This is the first time Operation Washout has been performed in the State of Idaho. The number of arrested gang members and other violent offenders indicates a problem all law enforcement is trying to address. The tremendous cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the Treasure Valley insures all of our communities will be a safe place for our families to live.”

“I commend the U.S. Marshals for conducting and leading this operation. It is obvious the collaborative efforts produced a force multiplier in addressing the violent crime and gang activity in our communities,” added Canyon County Sheriff Kieran Donahue.

Operation Washout participating agencies included: Ada & Canyon County Sheriffs’ Offices, Boise, Garden City, Nampa & Caldwell Police Departments, Idaho Department of Correction, U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Deputy U.S. Marshals from across the U.S.

  1. Did Boise BPD participate?

With current immigration policy the gangs will be repopulated in a few days.

Boise Metro Area (800,000 and growing) is one of the only metro areas in the USA the feds get cooperation to perform this sort of taskforce… because the dems are not in charge here yet. Curious if Boise City participated??

EDITOR NOTE–The Marshal says BPD was in on it according to the press release we posted.

  2. This type of cooperation with the feds will be discouraged under our next governor. In particular, if the enforcement targets the Aryan Knights. They will have friends in positions of authority.

  3. Not sure if this more good about the federal/state cooperation, or more BAD about Idaho prisons systems- where apparently such gangs form.
But really, shouldn’t be this be happening ALL THE TIME and therefore not really news worthy. “First time in Idaho”?

Yes, and once again, FEDERAL assistance on this is okay for right-wingers like Sheriff Donahue, but don’t send that federal money to our Legislature for early child education or college, (to prevent future crime).
    Selective principles for the righteous!

The federsl US Marshals service is out of control. They purport to ‘assist’ local law enforcement but they have exceeded their FEDERAL mission statement.

They are trigger-happy rogue thugs. Nothing else.

  5. Here come the stormtroopers

Guilty until proven innocent. Oh look, Facebook has already told them who the guilty people are. They read a post you read and that’s enough to smash your door down. I’m not exaggerating. Your bother is in a gang so you must be too. Do some research of the high level of interactions between Facebook and oppressive governments such as China. Our media will never tell us stories about charges being dropped or wrongful arrests or houses being smashed up and property stolen without any arrests. Our government will use the storm troopers to enforce our new “woke” culture just the same as China. Half of our population will approve because they are foolish enough to think it gives them more power or safety.

Examples are many, find your own but remember they are looking at what you read online to build a case against you for not thinking correctly.

  6. According to the DEA, the Sinaloa crime gang runs the Treasure Valley operations. No mention of them that I can see…perhaps they oversee the Surenos and the Nortenos?

The biggest crime wave that I have personally witnessed coming our way is WOKE judiciaries and mayors. My brother still lives in San Jose CA…why I cannot fathom. I firmly DO hope that Janice McGeachin is our next governor…I’m sick of the WOKE BS that I actually used to help foster when I was dumb enough to buy into it.
