Holiday Greetings And Year End Review

Pine needles and cone covered in frost.

We are not offended at “Merry Christmas,” and want to wish one to everyone. Also to those whose beliefs may not include Christmas, “Happy Holidays.”

This is also the time of year when we review the past year’s offerings from the GUARDIAN and ask readers to share thoughts about best, worst, and most stories we have posted.

We offer links to what we feel are candidates for top GUARDIAN stories for 2015. Feel free to use the ARCHIVE and SEARCH features above to select your own favorites. By far our favorite humor piece was the STATESMAN headline noting HERPES and BASQUES in town at same time. July 4th fireworks and nighttime fire image of the Soda Fire from 50 miles away were notable. It didn’t have much to do with Boise, but the human contact at the Denver Airport was touching.

Airport noise has been barely noted by the legacy media as was the “Horseless Racing” until it was repealed and became a court fight.

    Merry Christmas to all:
I’m going to vote for the articles on CWI whose expansion plans had received no notice until the Guardian picked up that no appraisal had been made. Much discussion and information ensued–Thanks Dave

  2. Dave….Sometimes I agree with you, and sometimes I don’t, but I always appreciate that you take the time to make our community more aware of their surroundings. I appreciate that the Boise Guardian is available for me to read! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely wife!

  3. I hope the Boise Gaurdian will be here for many years to come. If I want to know what the important news is in the Treasure Valley, this is where I go.
If I want a role call of all petty criminals, house fires, car crashes, growth cheerleading, celebrity worship, or statist propaganda, there is always KBOI, KTVB, KIVI, and the Idaho Statesman.
I share Gaurdian stories often in an attempt to spread real knowledge, which is the only way a civilization can hope to keep from sliding into totalitarian rule by a few Oligarchs.
Shining a light on the secret schemes of the sociopath politicians is the only way to stop them.
The Legacy Media has become nothing but a distraction and entertainment industry, so more than ever what is left of our shredded US and State Constitution is in the hands of a the few with integrity to speak the truth.
Having the Boise Gaurdian around for another year is the only Christmas gift I want.

  4. Thanks Dave for your efforts, your site is a valuable tool.

  5. I look forward to the tireless efforts you bring to the fore via the articles and issues not covered by the local TV and newspapers.
    Merry Christmas Dave.

Thanks Guardian, and Merry Christmas to all!

  7. Idaho Not Immune From “Big City” Cop Issues
this is timely with Minneapolis cops shooting a man of color recently and thereby prompting “Black Lives Matter” demonstrations at Mall of America and elsewhere.
    keep up the good work.
